Use a Pneumatic Forklift
You could often find pneumatic forklifts in shipping and warehouse operations. Also referred to as pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are utilized in order to transport things and supplies around on wooden pallets using metal forks which are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight contains a pump which lifts the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single person.
To be able to avoid loosing control while lifting heavy loads, pallet trucks should always be operated with care. Machine should be inspected prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet should be stacked carefully in order to ensure that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop in order to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks can then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks must be centered to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the handle of the pneumatic lift until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Move the pallet by pulling on the handle and then dragging it behind you. It is not safe to push the pallet in front of you since the momentum could cause it to go out of control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop suddenly. Stop gradually, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
