Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more accurate manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an essential lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
