Established during the year 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes began as a family company within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial place. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, a wide array of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
In 1963, the company started crane production. The business eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
