Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts can not move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is necessary.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specifically to hoist workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
